Terms of Service

Acceptance

By creating an account or using spawnr.gg, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required by Discord in your country, if higher) to use spawnr.gg. To purchase credit or add a payment method, you must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

The service

spawnr.gg provides on-demand game server hosting. Servers are provisioned when started and automatically shut down after a configurable idle period. World data is saved to cloud storage between sessions.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' servers or data.
• Abuse the platform to mine cryptocurrency or run non-game workloads.
• Exploit signup grants, referral programs, or billing mechanisms.
• Interfere with the service's operation or infrastructure.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Billing

Usage is billed per hour of active server time. Hourly rates vary by game and server size and are shown before you create or start a server. We may change rates from time to time; changes apply to future usage only, and we will announce material increases via the dashboard or Discord before they take effect. Prepaid credit is consumed as servers run. Unused credit does not expire.

Promotional credit — such as signup grants and top-up bonuses — has no cash value, is non-refundable and non-transferable, and may be revoked if we determine it was obtained or used in violation of these terms. Refunds of unused credit that you purchased may be requested by contacting support; promotional credit is excluded from refunds.

If your credit balance reaches zero and no payment method is on file, active servers may be stopped automatically. We will attempt to notify you before this happens.

Payment disputes

If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact support before disputing it with your card issuer — most billing issues can be resolved directly with a refund. When a chargeback or payment dispute is filed, the disputed amount is deducted from your credit balance while the dispute is open. If the dispute is resolved in your favor, the deducted amount is restored. If the dispute is resolved against us, the deduction is permanent, your account loses the ability to add credit or payment methods, and running servers may be stopped. Contact support if you believe a dispute was resolved in error.

Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance windows, infrastructure issues, or upstream provider outages may cause temporary downtime. We are not liable for data loss caused by service interruptions.

Your data

You retain ownership of your game server data (world saves, configurations). We do not access your server data except as needed to operate the service or respond to support requests. See our Privacy Policy for details on data collection and retention.

Limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, and our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. To the extent permitted by law, any dispute arising from these terms or the service must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Minnesota, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing in this section limits any consumer rights that the law of your place of residence grants you and does not allow you to waive.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, you will be asked to re-accept the updated terms on your next login.
